Packable Ripstop Backpack

A 20-litre packable backpack in lightweight ripstop, made to fold down into its own pouch and stay there until you need it. Made by BikeParka, who have been making waterproof bike covers in the UK since 2013.

It is built for the ride where you don't know how much you'll be carrying home — a day out on the bike, a detour to the market, a trip where the bag comes back fuller than it went out. Packed away it takes up almost no room in a pannier, rack bag or jacket pocket. Unpacked it carries a day's kit comfortably.

Ripstop is woven with a reinforcing grid, so a snag stays a snag instead of running into a tear — the same reason we use it on the bike covers.

The backpack is the larger of the two at 20 litres and carries on your back, which suits riding. The Packable Ripstop Tote is 16 litres and carries by hand or over a shoulder, which suits errands off the bike.
